Flow-Tech Industries offers a full line of ultrasonic flow meters that are clamp-on, non-invasive and in-line instruments to measure the flow rate of a variety of liquid types using two types of metering: Doppler and Transit Time. Doppler meters intended use is where suspended solids or aeration (bubbles) are always present in the liquid. Transit Time flow meters are used on clean or non-aerated liquids. Instruments are available permanently mounted or portable.

  • Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meters - Non-invasive meters with superb accuracy and response characteristics. Intended for clean liquids.
  • Doppler Ultrasonic Flow Meters - For liquids with a minimum of 100 PPM of 100 micron size suspended solids or aeration.
  • Enhanced Doppler Ultrasonic Flow Meters - For liquids that can at times be somewhat clean and at other times contain suspended solids or aeration. Requires a minimum of 25 PPM of 30 micron size.

The Faure Herman FH8300
This ultrasonic flow meter is designed to measure liquids – both conductive and non-conductive. Thanks to its variety of digital and analog inputs/outputs, the FH8300 is a versatile flow meter which easily interfaces with any process management system.

Transducers are based on cutting-edge technology which ensures a high level of measurement reproducibility. The stability of the measurement over time is a very important characteristic for applications such as leak detection. The possibility to replace transducers under pressure maintains the continuity of production and makes field maintenance simpler.


Flexim Ultrasonic Flow Meters

Clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement has long been established as a practical and reliable measurement method. The meters can be used everywhere where pipe walls and the fluid flowing in the pipe are acoustically transmissive.
The flow meters of the FLUXUS ® ADM series have been proven a thousand-fold and work according to the transit time difference correlation method. Since ultrasounds propagate in solids, the transducers can be mounted onto the pipe outer wall.

The advantages of the technology are evident. With the Clamp-On technique, no cutting of the pipe work is necessary. The non-intrusive measurement of energy flow and energy is also a task that can be easily accomplished with the FLUXUS® flowmeters.

Until now, flow measurement at high temperatures was a problem. With the new patented FLEXIM WaveInjector®, this now belongs to the past; flow measurement up to 400°C is no longer a problem, even in explosive zones.
